Love the look of these, and on first impressions they fitted well. However, when I walked around the house in them, the soles weren't as bouncy as they looked and I could feel hard lumps inside the shoe underneath the insole particularly under the ball of my foot. I could also feel these lumps with my fingers inside the boot after I took them off. Because of the wool lining which extends all the way to the toe, there isn't room to add an extra insole for comfort. Maybe a possibility if you size up.
